Lynwood City Government Prepares for Inclement Weather

sand bags

As you may know, our current rainy weather is expected to intensify this week---with potentially heavy rain amounts expected on Wednesday and Thursday.

As a result, the city is making sandbags available for residents until 5 p.m. today (Tuesday) and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.

The sandbags can be picked up at the City Public Works Yard on 11750 So. Alameda St.

City crews will also be patrolling the city to address any negative impacts from the storm.

Stay safe and we will continue to update you on social media on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
