The Dodgers Dreamteam Youth Development Program is back! This week the Lynwood City Council voted to partner with the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation to bring this important program back to our City.
“The Dodgers Dreamteam is more than baseball and softball,” said Mark Flores, Lynwood’s director of recreation and community services. “The youth who participate in this program will also have access to workshops, classes and other opportunities that will teach them life skills that extend beyond sport.”
2023 Grant Program Highlights include:
- 576 Lynwood Players,
- $15 Registration fee per player,
- 12U Age divisions begin play April 2023,
- 13+ Age divisions begin play June 2023, and
The partnership also provides the Lynwood program with equipment and uniforms, Dodger Days, fitness and nutrition education, coaches’ trainings, player development trainings, college and career accelerator workshops, learning about the science of baseball, baseball and softball clinics, a PlayerFest and more.
