Each week, we let you know about the amazing jobs the City of Lynwood’s Public Works crews perform to keep public spaces clean and safe for our residents. This includes clearing illegally dumped items and debris from alleys, cleaning up transient sites across the City and picking up items left on our streets.
Crews also clean and maintain the bus stop shelters in Lynwood. Last week, they serviced 105 shelters by picking up trash, removing graffiti, removing weeds, and sanitizing and pressuring washing the shelters. This is done to ensure that the bus stops are clean for our residents and visitors who use public transportation.
This task is just one of the many performed by our Public Works crews to make sure that our residents can use available services in a safe and clean environment.
