🌧️ SANDBAG PICK UP (8 Bags Maximum) - Storm Preparedness in Lynwood, CA 🌧️

Tropical Storm Alert! 🌧️

In preparation for tropical storm Hilary, Public Works staff has been working over the weekend to assist residents in preparing sandbags and clearing out the flooded areas. There were 1,300 sand bags given out Saturday and over 600 on Sunday (as of 1pm). Additional weekend preparation efforts included cleaning the storm drains and attempting to route the usual flooded areas.

To help you stay prepared and protected, sandbags will be available for pick up. We understand the potential impact of the impending Tropical Storm, and our priority is to support you in safeguarding your homes and properties.

Here's what you need to know:

📍 Pick Up Location: City’s Public Works Yard 11750 S. Alameda St., Lynwood, CA 90262

🗓️ Pick Up Dates: August 18th - August 20th

Pick Up Times: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
