The City of Lynwood grieves the tragic loss of the lives of four deputies in the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. While investigations are ongoing, these deaths serve as stark reminders of the multifaceted mental health struggles faced by our first responders, both on and off duty. Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of the LASD and its personnel.

To our first responders, thank you for all that you do to support and protect our community. We acknowledge that your commitment to serve comes with many challenges and sacrifices.

We also remind our entire community of the importance of checking in on colleagues, friends, and family. This simple gesture can make an impactful, positive difference in their lives.

If you or someone you know needs support now, please call or text 988 or go to 988lifeline.org.

You are not alone.💙
