Lynwood business owners and managers will learn about a program that can give them up to a $12,000 grant to improve the physical look of their business locations.
The meeting will be held this Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at the Lynwood Senior Citizens Center (11329 Ernestine Avenue) where business people can learn if they qualify to enhance the exterior physical appearance of their commercial operations in Lynwood.
Eligible businesses include:
- Retail, restaurant, or service businesses (personal and pet care services including barbershops, beauty salons, nail salons, pet grooming, etc., repair services, laundry and dry-cleaning services, caterers and fitness centers).
- Commercial properties that include retail, restaurant or service businesses.
- Other commercial businesses/property types (cultural, office, etc.), which will be considered on a case-by-case basis, so long as the business or property is located within one of the main corridors.
“This is a great opportunity for Lynwood business owners and leaders to improve their operations. I urge all to learn more about how the Commercial Facade Program can benefit their businesses and our city,” said Mayor Jorge Casanova. “We continue to work to improve the business climate in our city and this program is another step in that effort.”
The funds are being provided by the city of Lynwood with help from the American Rescue Plan Act. For more information regarding this workshop you can call 310-350-3709 or email (bamosura@gmail.com).
See you Thursday!
