Here are the days/times over the next few days:

Thursday, September 1 – 8am-4pm

Friday, September 2 – 8am-4pm

Saturday, September 3 – 11am-5pm

Sunday, September 4 – 11am-5pm

Monday, September 5 – 11am-5pm

Additionally, the cooling center will open on weekdays when the temperature surpasses 85 degrees. We’ll let you know when extended hours are available.

For information please call the Lynwood Senior Center at 310-886-0425.

During this heatwave, please make sure you are hydrated (drink plenty of water), try to stay cool and know the signs of heat-related illness (high body temperature, cramps and heavy sweating among other signs).
